Notice of Electronic Special Meeting of the Industrial Development Board of the City of Newport and Cocke County, Tennessee
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Industrial Development Board of the City of Newport and Cocke County, Tennessee (the “Board”) will hold a special meeting at 5:00 p.m. on December 18, 2020. The meeting will be held electronically, and no physical location of the meeting will exist.
In accordance with Governor Lee’s Executive Order No. 65, the Chairman of the Board has determined that the meeting will be held by electronic means to conduct the essential business of the Board in order to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. At such meeting, the Board will be asked to concur in such determination prior to preceding with such meeting.

At such meeting, the Board will consider and act upon all business which may properly come before the Board, said business to include, but not necessarily be limited to the approval of documentation related to a payment in lieu of tax agreement between the Board and Rural Family Medicine Physicians, LLC. This Notice is published in compliance with Tenn. Code Ann. § 7-53-305(j), Governor Lee’s Executive Order No. 65 and Tenn. Code Ann. §§ 8-44-101 through 8-44-106, inclusive.
